Our founder, Robert Slider has a background and qualifications in engineering and education. With a passion for problem-solving and “fixing” problems and a dream to run his own business, he decided, with the full support of his family, to hang up the shirt and tie to start Slider and Sons. Robert learned much of what he knows from his father, who was a maintenance man for many years. He loves hard work and loves to help people, and he hopes to pass along his skills to his two sons, who may one day take over the business.
